Deluxe Balcony ($390 per cabin for two, 2 days 1 night) is the entry pick and at 32 m2 is still among the largest standard cabins on the bay; Premium Balcony ($430) is the same size on decks 2 and 4 with higher, less obstructed views. Upgrade to the Captain Suite ($560) or Ambassador Suite ($620) for a private terrace and a bathtub, or the deck-4 Presidential Suite ($1,250) with panoramic views and a private dining area.

Prices are per cabin for up to two guests (the Family Connecting option is $760 for two joined cabins sleeping four); solo travelers usually pay a single supplement rather than the full double price — ask for the current solo rate on your date. Check-in at Tuan Chau Marina runs 11:45 AM-12:30 PM — be at the marina 30-45 minutes before boarding, as late arrivals can miss the tender boat — and you disembark at 10:30 AM the next day after brunch. All meals (lunch, dinner, light breakfast and brunch), the Sung Sot and Luon Cave excursions with entrance fees, kayaking or a bamboo-boat ride, the sunset saxophone party, sunrise tai chi and an English-speaking guide are included. Drinks beyond complimentary water, spa treatments, tips and Hanoi-Halong transfers are extra. Note that Sung Sot Cave involves 100+ steps, so bring flat shoes.

Cancel more than 30 days before departure for a full refund minus a USD 10 per-cabin handling fee; 15-30 days before departure you get a 50% refund; less than 15 days before departure there is no refund. If the Bay Management Board cancels a sailing for rough weather (mainly the Jun-Sep typhoon season), you receive a full refund or free rebooking.

Transfers are optional and priced separately: shared shuttle vans from about $13-15 per person each way, or private cars from around $65. Pick-up (usually 8:00-8:30 AM from the Old Quarter) is timed to match your cruise check-in — just add the transfer when booking.
