Da Nang's two spiritual landmarks in one easy half day: climb (or ride the elevator up) Thuy Son, the largest of the five Marble Mountains, where pagodas and Buddhist shrines hide inside vast marble caves — including the otherworldly Huyen Khong Cave lit by a natural skylight — then descend into Am Phu Cave's theatrical "Buddhist hell" of sculpted judgment scenes.
The tour finishes on the Son Tra peninsula at Linh Ung Pagoda, beneath the 67-metre Lady Buddha — Vietnam's tallest — with sweeping views back across Da Nang bay.

08:00 - 08:30: Pick-up from your hotel in Da Nang (afternoon departure also available) and a 15-minute drive to the Marble Mountains.
08:30 - 10:30: Ascend Thuy Son by elevator or the stone staircase. Explore Tam Thai Pagoda, the viewpoints over the other four marble peaks and the coastline, and the caves — culminating in Huyen Khong Cave, a cathedral-sized chamber where sunbeams drop through a ceiling opening onto a seated Buddha.
10:30 - 11:15: Walk through Am Phu Cave at the mountain's base — a dramatic Buddhist depiction of hell and redemption, with sculpted scenes of judgment along a descending path and a "path to heaven" climb out to daylight.
11:30 - 12:00: Drive along the coast to the Son Tra peninsula and visit Linh Ung Pagoda: the 67 m Lady Buddha statue, bonsai gardens, and the best panorama of Da Nang's curving bay.
12:30: Drop-off at your hotel (or in Hoi An for a small supplement). End of tour.
