Frequently asked questions

About Hue – Bach Ma – Hue – 1 Day.

What time does the tour start and finish?

Pickup from your hotel in Hue is at 8:00 AM by private car, and you're back in Hue around 4:00 PM. On the way you stop at Cau Hai Lagoon for photos before reaching the park.

How fit do I need to be?

Moderately — expect a few hours on foot with steep stone-step sections between the Five Lakes and the Do Quyen Waterfall area. Descending the 600+ steps to the foot of the roughly 300 m waterfall is optional; anyone who hikes occasionally will manage the rest.

Can we swim in the Five Lakes?

Yes — the emerald pools are swimmable, and the picnic lunch stop is at Lake No. 5 so you can cool off right there. Bring swimwear, a towel, and a dry change of clothes.

What should I pack?

Proper walking shoes for the steep stone steps, swimwear and a towel for the lakes, and insect repellent — it's a national park and leeches appear after rain.

Is lunch included?

Yes — a picnic lunch in the park is included, plus mineral water and a cold tissue; tell us about dietary needs at booking. Other beverages are at your own expense.

Are entrance fees included?

Yes — entrance fees per the program are included, along with the private car and English-speaking guide. Not included: extra beverages, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips, VAT, and a Christmas/New Year surcharge.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain is fine, but in heavy rain (especially Oct–Dec) the park may close summit roads or trails for safety. In that case the route is adjusted or you're offered a reschedule or refund — we'll contact you if the forecast threatens.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation with a full refund more than 24 hours before the tour; cancellations less than 24 hours before the start and no-shows are non-refundable.
